INTERNAZIONALI DI TODI

The “home tournament” of MEF Tennis Events has awarded 16 titles, first with the name of Internazionali di Tennis dell’Umbria and then Internazionali di Tennis Città di Todi. Among the names of the champions who have passed through Todi are David Goffin, Grigor Dimitrov, Marcel Granollers, Kevin Anderson, Benoit Paire, Carlos Berlocq, Marco Cecchinato, Federico Delbonis, Lorenzo Musetti, Carlos Alcaraz and the unforgettable Federico Luzzi. The Internazionali have also been an opportunity to see on clay historic figures such as Thomas Muster, former world no. 1 born in 1987, and Gaston Gaudio, winner of the Roland Garros in 2004 and former world no. 5, without forgetting the combined events.

The tournament has earned a prominent position on the international scene: “From year to year this tournament” – commented Sergio Palmieri – “grows in level both in terms of the quality of the players and in terms of the organization. Today it represents one of the most important stages in Italy. Great credit therefore to Marcello Marchesini and Francesco Cancellotti for the expertise and passion they have shown in recent years”.

In 2022, the Argentine Pedro Cachin was crowned champion of the Internazionali di Tennis Città di Todi, entering the ATP Top 100.

The 2023 edition was won by Luciano Darderi, who obtained his first title on the ATP Challenger circuit, in front of a large audience.

The 2024 edition saw the triumph of the Spaniard Carlos Taberner.
